Monday, February 1st @ 6:30 PM: 
Brrr….it’s cold outside and a perfect time for chili, soups, and stews to keep us warm.  Join us on how to make the flavorful
recipes featured during the program sponsored by the Friends of the Library. $1.00 donation at the door.  Limit 30

Join Sankofa travel historian, Tammy Gibson, as she gives a presentation on how African-Americans traveled
during the Jim Crow era of the 1950-1960s. Limit 30

DIY Scrabble Coasters

You’ll love the way these Scrabble Tile coasters will turn out! Customize them with 
different words for yourself or make a gift for someone with their favorites items spelled out in tiles.  Limit 10

DIY Air Plant Terrariums

Learn how to make an air plant terrarium. They are easy to make and easy to maintain. Limit 10

DIY Bath Bombs
Monday, April 25th @ 6:30 PM: 
Bath bombs are hard-packed mixtures of dry ingredients which effervesces when wet. They are also used to add essential
oils and nice scents to bath water. Learn how to make bath bombs for home use.  Limit 10

DIY Aged Terra Cotta Image Pots
Monday, May 16th @ 6:30 PM:
Learn how to transfer images onto a terra cotta pot in this easy craft that will
add character your garden.  Limit 10

This club offers participants discuss and share their love of Food. This Outlet offers a
great opportunity to explore different cultural aspects of food, expanded food preparation,
and nutritional knowledge. The exciting platforms used to enhance participant’s culinary experience
are through cookbooks, food Videos, written food related literature, and actual dining out experiences.

Night Knitting:

Come join other knitters, crocheters, and fiber art enthusiasts to learn more about your favorite

Join us for Sewing Club! We will have machines available for use. This is NOT a class, participants must
bring their own supplies and know how to sew. Limit 10

Open Sewing:
Monday, January 11th & 25th, 6-7:30 PM
Bring in your small projects and enjoy company. We have limited machines for use, 
but you are more than welcome to bring in your own machine. Limit 6

Quilting Club:

We will be working on a basic Patchwork Quilt.
