There's More To The Story. National Library Week. April 23-29, 2023.

We would like to invite you to celebrate National Library Week with us to explore all we have to offer.

Most people know about the wealth of stories available at the library, from picture books and large print to audiobooks and ebooks. But there’s so much more to the story of libraries. Our library provides you access to several unique items such as wireless hotspots for seniors, board games, and educational kits.

Libraries are welcoming spaces that bring communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, storytimes, movie nights, crafting classes, lectures, and more.  You’re more than welcome to come and read in our Quiet Reading Room, use one of our tables for study, check out a study room, attend a program, or more!

And libraries play a critical role in the economic vitality of communities by providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for job seekers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. We have computers available for Adults, Teens, & Children and over a dozen databases to help our community with thier business, research, and leisure endeavors.

If you haven’t checked out our library lately, you’re missing out on the full story. Celebrate with us during National Library Week, April 23-29:

  • Visit us and participate in our “We love our library” wall
  • Pick up a National Library Week Bookmark
  • Follow us on our social channels and use the hashtag #National Library Week to join the online celebration

First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries of all types across the country each April.
